Paul Cavanagh, actor englez de film

Paul Cavanagh s-a născut pe 8 decembrie 1888, în Chislehurst, Kent, și a decedat pe 15 martie 1964, în Londra, din cauza unui infarct miocardic. A studiat Dreptul la Cambridge și a lucrat în justiție înainte de a se alătura forțelor de poliție călare din Canada. După ce a luptat în Primul Război Mondial, s-a întors în Canada, iar ulterior s-a reîntors în Anglia pentru a-și continua activitatea în domeniul juridic.

Cariera sa în teatru și film a început în Marea Britanie în 1928, iar în 1929 s-a mutat în Statele Unite, unde a debutat pe Broadway. În următorii ani, Cavanagh a avut o carieră prolifică în cinematografie, apărând în peste 100 de filme, până în 1959. De asemenea, a apărut în mai multe seriale TV în perioada 1950-1960.
