Carole Lombard, actriță americană

Carole Lombard (născută Jane Alice Peters, 6 octombrie 1908, Fort Wayne, Indiana, SUA – 16 ianuarie 1942, Mount Potosi, Nevada, SUA), a fost o renumită actriță americană de film, cunoscută pentru talentul și frumusețea sa. A devenit una dintre cele mai iubite vedete ale epocii de aur a Hollywood-ului. Carole a murit tragic într-un accident aviatic pe 16 ianuarie 1942, în timpul celui de-al Doilea Război Mondial.
