Gillian Leigh Anderson, actriță americano-britanică

Gillian Leigh Anderson (n. 9 august 1968, Chicago, Illinois, SUA) este o actriță americano-britanică, care a ajuns să fie foarte cunoscută ca personajul agent FBI, doctor Dana Scully, partenera agentului Fox Mulder (interpretat de David Duchovny) din serialul de televiziune Dosarele X. În afara acestui rol, care i-a adus faima și consacrarea, actrița a avut și are o carieră filmică și de scenă complexă.

Anderson are o carieră diversificată, jucând în filme și seriale de renume precum „The Fall”, „Hannibal”, „Sex Education” și „The Crown”, unde a interpretat-o pe Margaret Thatcher. De-a lungul carierei, a fost apreciată pentru talentul său și a câștigat numeroase premii pentru interpretările sale.
