John Travolta (n. 18 februarie 1954 ) a fost nominalizat la Premiul Oscar pentru cel mai bun actor pentru interpretarile din Saturday Night Fever și Pulp Fiction . A câștigat un Glob de Aur pentru cel mai bun actor într-un film – muzical sau comedie pentru interpretarea sa din Get Shorty și a primit un total de șase nominalizări, cea mai recentă fiind în 2011. În 2014, a primit Premiul IIFA pentru realizare remarcabilă în Cinema Internațional. În 2016, Travolta a primit primul său Primetime Emmy Award , în calitate de producător al primului sezon al serialului de antologie American Crime Story , subtitratThe People v. OJ Simpson . De asemenea, a primit o nominalizare suplimentară la Emmy și o nominalizare la Globul de Aur pentru rolul avocatului Robert Shapiro în serial.
