Anne Bancroft (17 septembrie 1931-6 iunie 2005 ) este unul dintre cei zece actori care au câștigat atât un premiu Oscar, cât și un premiu Tony pentru același rol (ca Annie Sullivan în The Miracle Worker ), și unul dintre foarte puținii animatori care au câștigat un Oscar, un Emmy și un Tony premiu . Această realizare rară este cunoscută și sub numele de Tripla Coroană de Actorie . Ea a urmat acel succes cu un al doilea special de televiziune, Annie and the Hoods (1974), care a fost difuzat pe ABC și l-a prezentat pe soțul ei Mel Brooks ca vedetă invitată.
Anne Bancroft
A făcut un cameo necreditat în filmul Blazing Saddles(1974), în regia lui Brooks. A primit a patra nominalizare la Oscar pentru cea mai bună actriță pentru interpretarea sa în The Turning Point (1977), și a cincea nominalizare pentru cea mai bună actriță pentru interpretarea ei în Agnes of God (1985).
