Williams și-a început cariera în 1990 ca membru al trupei Take That. În 1995, după ce trupa vânduse 25 de milioane de albume, a ales să părăsească formația pentru a-și construi o carieră solo. De atunci, a vândut peste 55 de milioane de albume și 17 milioane de single-uri. Un moment deosebit în cariera sa a fost în 2006, când a intrat în Cartea Recordurilor pentru că a vândut 1,6 milioane de bilete pentru turneul său mondial într-o singură zi. Robbie Williams este câștigătorul a numeroase premii, inclusiv 15 premii BRIT și 6 premii ECHO. În 2004, a fost introdus în UK Music Hall of Fame, fiind desemnat Cel mai bun artist al anilor ’90.
